We continue to follow Government guidelines and keep our events online so that we are still able to deliver engaging content as well as to support the health and happiness of our members during these unprecedented times.

To view all our online events you can visit our BrightTALK Channel here.

Your safety is our top priority. In line with public health advice, we have taken the decision to take next week’s RANT Forum online and to postpone all further events across the City until further notice.

All registered participants will be notified via email on any further developments.

Going forward, we will update our members regularly and aim to communicate important information as soon as is appropriate.

Please rest assured that we are working hard to develop our online events strategy so that we are able to continue to deliver engaging events and support the health and happiness of our members during this difficult time.

As responsible event organisers, and in line with our company values, the health and wellbeing of all those who attend our events is our priority. We are in the business of organising great events where professionals come together to educate and meet like-minded peers, and that’s what we will continue to do.

In response to the evolving events surrounding COVID-19 (also called novel coronavirus), RANT Events have made the decision not to cancel our events (as at the date above). We will respond to this evolving situation in a calm and proportionate manner based on expert advice and following Government guidelines. Please rest assured we will not hesitate to act if we believe it is the right thing to do. If one of our events has to be suspended or moved either for health reasons or because we feel we won’t be able to deliver the great event we all expect, then we will of course, reschedule in the near future.

We are taking extra measures to ensure the health and safety of all attendees:

  • Following the UK Government, Public Health England and WHO, to stay up to date with the latest developments
  • Working with our venues on plans to ensure strengthened hygiene and sanitisation across the venue
  • Hand sanitiser at registration for all attendees upon entry and exit
  • No finger food, buffet food or any food kept out for long periods of time. Food will be made to order.
  • No shared mics (questions asked will be repeated by the presenter/moderator/panel)
  • No more than 40% capacity at ‘pub environment’ events
  • Make the event online if we feel it is necessary

We also ask that all attendees maintain good respiratory and hand hygiene by employing the ‘Catch It. Bin It. Kill It.’ ethos and ensuring regular and thorough hand washing.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to disinfect their hands in the registration area before entering the event.

Please no shaking of hands or tapping on backs or shoulders. Please do not be offended if somebody refuses to shake hands with you – they are taking sensible precautions and are likely to be following their own corporate guidelines.

If you do experience any of the symptoms: a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath, please remain at home visit https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 or call NHS 111 for advice.

We fully support your decision on attending events at this time, and simply ask that you let us know in advance if your decision is to withdraw your attendance.

There's a genuine air of conviction (of the right sort) around the challenges you get from the audience when speaking at a RANT event. Quite happy to come away with two falls and a submission rather than the usual conference group therapy.

An excellent evening. Rant picked a very good venue and speakers. Keep ranting!
