    The Cyber Security Directorate at Ofgem is playing a critical role in ensuring that our people, data, operations and facilities are protected from threats. As our Senior Compliance Manager, you will monitor, support, report and instruct against the regulatory framework to ensure operational systems and networks in the electricity and downstream gas sectors remain resilient against cyber and related security threats. Operating at a senior level, you will help to demystify regulations, oversee audits, provide scrutiny and escalate issues where appropriate.

    Significant experience in a security auditing/inspection role is essential. With a degree in cyber, engineering or technology, and a professional qualification is ISO 27001: 2013 Lead Auditor (CISA equivalent), you will have recent, relevant skills in conducting audit inspections, performing security risk assessment, reviewing reports and providing risk analysis. The ability to understand critical infrastructure, communicate potential threats or issues, and implement processes for dealing with and managing security incidents is vital.

  • Third Party Security Analyst

    Job Introduction

    Our client, a world renowned financial services institution, are looking to hire a Third Party Security Analyst to join on a permanent basis as part of their ever expanding and successful internal Security function. You have the opportunity to join at a critical growth stage for the business where they are going through a large scale digital & security transformation project and you will act as an integral part of this. This is a permanent role, based out of the company’s flagship offices close to Brighton on the South Coast.

    Main Responsibilities

    As a Third Party Security Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

    * Asses all third party suppliers based on the sensitivity of data they have access to and their overall risk posture, and periodically review the assessment schedule accordingly to help ensure the highest risk suppliers are checked

    * Perform information security assessments of third party suppliers following internal frameworks to help ensure third party suppliers apply security controls in adherence with company policies and standards

    * Conduct regular IT security control testing and review and provide associated improvement recommendations to help ensure controls are designed and operating effectively.

    * Liaise with the third party suppliers to track the progress of remediation actions against agreed timelines and escalate any delays to the Security Supplier Governance Manager in order to ensure any outstanding risks are pro-actively managed.

    * Monitor and prepare reporting for key risks and performance indicators of third-party service providers to help ensure that trends and risks are identifiable and escalated to management where appropriate

    * Provide support to the Security Supplier Governance Manager in overseeing the delivery of outsourced delivery services by the Tier 1 and Tier 2 security suppliers by monitoring and reporting compliance to SLAs

    The Ideal Candidate

    * Strong understanding of cyber controls and cyber risks to both evaluate and identify control effectiveness

    * Broad understanding of various cyber technologies such as endpoint protection, DLP, insider threat protection and mobile device protection

    * Experience of leading engagement with third-party suppliers to perform control-level technical cyber risk assessments

    * Ability to effectively communicate information security risks to business stakeholders and third-party service providers

    * Information Security and /or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP-ISSAP, CISA or equivalent) strongly preferred

    * Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not essential) or equivalent experience in computer science, IT engineering, or related field
