Keith Povey has worked in B2B tech marketing his whole career – working on both agency and client side – allowing him to bring processes and structure to the accounts he ran on the creative side and bringing creative and lateral thinking to the corporate environments.
Working for and with IBM, SAP, Tandberg, NDS, Webex, Cisco, Canon, Sony, AIG and agencies like dnx/OgilvyOne and Chaos Design among a few – his career has been diverse in experience but single-minded in developing and refining B2B tech marketing go-to-market strategies.
More recently, Keith was EMEA Marketing Director at global distributor Westcon before moving to take an ownership stake in the start-up world with C View Technologies. Now moving on to Verizon, he runs all marketing activities in UKI for Verizon Enterprise where he continues to push creativity and new ways of thinking with programs such as his ChamberBreaker series.
ChamberBreakers is a global tech community, led by Verizon, that brings start-ups, innovators and entrepreneurs together with Verizon’s biggest customers to openly discuss topical issues and create long lasting relationships that ordinarily might never have existed across the world in London, New York, Singapore and Bangalore.
A massive advocate of data-driven marketing, creativity and the value that modern marketing contributes to any business, Keith is currently an associate lecturer to final year undergraduates at University of Surrey in “Marketing in a Digital Environment”.
