Kevin joined JP Morgan in June 2015 and is currently responsible for business engagement across Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence
Prior to joining the Company, Kevin served for almost 30 years in the British Army, specialising in Military Intelligence. He joined the Army Intelligence Corps in 1985 and following over 2 years of intensive training he took on his first role in 1987. Throughout his military career Kevin worked either directly within the UK intelligence communities or as an instructor training new entrants. He has served in several countries around the globe and saw operational service in Kuwait, Iraq, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Afghanistan and also spent time working with the United nations in Sarajevo.
During his military career, Kevin worked alongside international military and other government agencies in numerous areas of intelligence at tactical, operational and strategic levels. As well as Cyber Intelligence he has a great deal of experience in Signals intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Human Intelligence. Whilst serving in the Army Kevin studied for a degree and achieved a first class honours in Cyber Security and Intelligence and also gained the CISSP certification.
Kevin is one of the few UK individuals to have completed the US Military’s Joint Cyber Course at the National Security Agency in Washington and before retiring from the Army, he worked alongside UK Government Agencies as part of the team created to establish a UK Military Cyber capability.
Kevin’s interests include hill walking and sports, especially rugby, and he is a qualified alpine ski instructor.
